स्नेहस्वेदोपपन्नानां कुर्याद्रक्तावसेचनम् । विद्रध्युक्तां क्रियां कुर्यात् पक्वे वाऽस्थि तु भेदयेत् ॥४०॥

For those who have undergone oiling and fomentation, bloodletting should be performed. The treatment prescribed for abscess should be carried out, and if the abscess involves the bone, it should be surgically opened.

जिन लोगों ने तेल और सिंकाई कराई है, उनके लिए रक्तपात किया जाना चाहिए। फोड़े के लिए निर्धारित उपचार किया जाना चाहिए, और यदि फोड़े में हड्डी शामिल है, तो इसे शल्य चिकित्सा द्वारा खोला जाना चाहिए।
