रोगे व्यधनसाध्ये तु यथोद्देशं प्रमाणतः । शस्त्रं निदध्याद्दोषं च स्रावयेत् कीर्तितं यथा ॥४४॥

ऐसे रोग में जिसमें (उपचार के लिए) छेदन की आवश्यकता होती है, चिकित्सक को सर्जिकल उपकरण को निर्देशानुसार सटीक रूप से डालना चाहिए, और निर्धारित विधि के अनुसार खराब दोष (शारीरिक हास्य) को निकालना चाहिए।
