समागमो +अम्शाद् अधिके भवतश् चेद् वलान्वितौ। अपसव्ये जितो युद्धे पिहितो +अणुर् अदीप्तितान्॥
If the interval be more than a degree, it is " conjunction " (sam'dgama) , if both are endued with power (bala). One that is vanquished (jita) in a dexter encounter (apasavya yuddha), one that is covered, faint (anu), destitute of brilliancy.
