Surya Siddhanta
तत्तद्गतिवशान् नित्यम् यथा दृक्तुल्यताम् ग्रहाः । प्रयान्ति तत् प्रवक्ष्यामि स्फुटीकरणम् आदरात् ॥
(Now) I explain carefully the Rules for finding the true places (of the planets) in such a manner that the places found by the Rules coincide with those, determined by observation, of the planets which move constantly with various motions.

tattadgativazAn nityam yathA dRktulyatAm grahAH । prayAnti tat pravakSyAmi sphuTIkaraNam AdarAt ॥
