मन्वन्तरव्यवस्था च प्राजापत्यम् उदाहृतम्। न तत्र द्युनिशोर् भेदो ब्राह्मम् कल्पः प्रकीर्तितम्॥
We have described the system of manwantara (time of Manu/patriarchate) previously which is styled as the präjäpätya (of Prajäpaté) standard. We do not have day or night division in this standard. An aeon (kalpa) is called the time of Brahmä or it is the brähmya (of Brahmä) standard.
english translation
एतत् ते परमाख्यातम् रहस्यम् परमाद्भुतम्। ब्रह्मैतत् परमम् पुण्यम् सर्वपापप्रणाशनम् ॥
O, great one, I have described to you the pure and supreme knowledge. This knowledge destroys all kinds of sin, it is pure and moreover it is even Brahma itself.
english translation
दिव्यम् चार्क्षम् ग्रहाणाम् च दर्शितम् ज्ञानम् उत्तमम्। विज्ञायार्कादिलोकेषु स्थानम् प्राप्नोति शास्वतम्॥
After attaining the heavenly and superior knowledge, that I have imparted to you about the planets and the constellations, one obtains a permanent place in the realm of the sun-god.
english translation
इत्य् उक्त्वा मयम् आमन्त्र्य सम्यक् तेनाभिपूजितः। दिवम् आचक्रमे +अर्काम्शः प्रविवेश स्वमण्डलम्॥
In this manner, after imparting complete instructions to Maya and being worshipped by him, the person who is part of the sun (arkängça purusha) rose to heaven and entered the sphere of the sun.
english translation
मयो +अथ दिव्यम् तज्ञानम् ज्ञात्वा साक्षाद् विवस्वतः। कृतकृत्यम् इवात्मानम् मेने निर्धूतकल्मषम्॥
Maya too, being gratified with attaining divine knowledge from the sun, began to think of himself as free of all impurities.
