अयोध्यावासिनः सर्वे बालकान् पुनरागतान् । दृष्ट्वा विसिस्मिरे राजन् राजा चाप्यन्वतप्यत ।। ९-८-१९ ।।

sanskrit

O King Parīkṣit, when all the inhabitants of Ayodhyā saw that their boys had come back to life, they were astounded, and King Sagara greatly lamented the absence of his son. ।। 9-8-19 ।।

english translation

हे राजा परीक्षित, जब सारे अयोध्यावासियों ने देखा कि उनके लडक़े पुन: जीवित हो उठे हैं तो वे स्तम्भित रह गये और राजा सगर को अपने पुत्र की अनुपस्थिति पर अत्यधिक पश्चाताप हुआ। ।। ९-८-१९ ।।
