देवापिः शन्तनुस्तस्य बाह्लीक इति चात्मजाः । पितृराज्यं परित्यज्य देवापिस्तु वनं गतः ॥ ९-२२-१२ ॥
The sons of Pratīpa were Devāpi, Śāntanu and Bāhlīka. Devāpi left the kingdom of his father and went to the forest, ॥ 9-22-12 ॥

प्रतीप के तीन पुत्र थे—देवापि, शान्तनु तथा बाह्लीक। देवापि अपने पिता का राज्य त्याग कर जंगल चला गया ॥ ९-२२-१२ ॥
