Srimad Bhagavatam
वीक्ष्य व्रजन्तं गिरिशं सह देव्या वृषस्थितम् । सहसोत्तीर्य वासांसि पर्यधुर्व्रीडिताः स्त्रियः ॥ ९-१८-९ ॥
While sporting in the water, the girls suddenly saw Lord Śiva passing by, seated on the back of his bull with his wife, Pārvatī. Ashamed because they were naked, the girls quickly got out of the water and covered themselves with their garments. ॥ 9-18-9 ॥
english translation
जलक्रीड़ा करते हुए लड़कियों ने सहसा शिवजी को ऊपर से जाते देखा जो अपने बैल की पीठ पर अपनी पत्नी पार्वती समेत आसीन थे। नंगी होने के कारण लज्जित वे लड़कियाँ तुरन्त जल से बाहर निकल आईं और उन्होंने अपने वस्त्रों से अपने-अपने शरीर ढक लिये। ॥ ९-१८-९ ॥
