जामदग्न्योऽपि भगवान् रामः कमललोचनः । आगामिन्यन्तरे राजन् वर्तयिष्यति वै बृहत् ॥ ९-१६-२५ ॥
My dear King Parīkṣit, in the next manvantara the lotus-eyed Personality of Godhead Lord Paraśurāma, the son of Jamadagni, will be a great propounder of Vedic knowledge. In other words, he will be one of the seven sages. ॥ 9-16-25 ॥

हे परीक्षित, अगले मन्वन्तर में जमदग्निपुत्र कमलनेत्र भगवान् परशुराम वैदिक ज्ञान के महान् संस्थापक होंगे। दूसरे शब्दों में, वे सप्तर्षियों में से एक होंगे। ॥ ९-१६-२५ ॥
