Srimad Bhagavatam
कदाचिद्रेणुका याता गङ्गायां पद्ममालिनम् । गन्धर्वराजं क्रीडन्तमप्सरोभिरपश्यत ॥ ९-१६-२ ॥
Once when Reṇukā, the wife of Jamadagni, went to the bank of the Ganges to get water, she saw the King of the Gandharvas, decorated with a garland of lotuses and sporting in the Ganges with celestial women ॥ Apsarās॥. ॥ 9-16-2 ॥
english translation
एक बार जब जमदग्नि की पत्नी रेणुका गंगा नदी के तट पर पानी भरने गई तो उन्होंने कमल फूल की माला से अलंकृत तथा अप्सराओं के साथ गंगा में विहार करते गन्धर्वों के राजा को देखा। ॥ ९-१६-२ ॥
