प्रेम्णानुवृत्त्या शीलेन प्रश्रयावनता सती । भिया ह्रिया च भावज्ञा भर्तुः सीताहरन्मनः ।। ९-१०-५६ ।।

sanskrit

Mother Sītā was very submissive, faithful, shy and chaste, always understanding the attitude of her husband. Thus by her character and her love and service she completely attracted the mind of the Lord. ।। 9-10-56 ।।

english translation

सीतादेवी अत्यन्त विनीत, आज्ञाकारिणी, लज्जालु तथा सती थीं और सदा अपने पति के भाव को समझने वाली थीं। इस प्रकार अपने चरित्र एवं प्रेम तथा सेवा से वे भगवान् के मन को पूरी तरह मोह सकीं। ।। ९-१०-५६ ।।
