स एव हि पुनः सर्ववस्तुनि वस्तुस्वरूपः सर्वेश्वरः सकलजगत्कारणकारणभूतः सर्वप्रत्यगात्मत्वात्सर्वगुणाभासोपलक्षित एक एव पर्यवशेषितः ।। ६-९-३८ ।।

With deliberation, one will see that the Supreme Soul, although manifested in different ways, is actually the basic principle of everything. The total material energy is the cause of the material manifestation, but the material energy is caused by Him. Therefore He is the cause of all causes, the manifester of intelligence and the senses. He is perceived as the Supersoul of everything. Without Him, everything would be dead. You, as that Supersoul, the supreme controller, are the only one remaining. ।। 6-9-38 ।।

english translation

विचार-विमर्श से यह देखा जा सकता है कि परमात्मा यद्यपि विभिन्न प्रकार से प्रकट होते हैं, किन्तु प्रत्येक वस्तु के मूल तत्त्व वे ही हैं। सम्पूर्ण भौतिक शक्ति इस संसार का कारण है, किन्तु यह शक्ति उन्हीं से उद्भूत है, अत: वे ही समस्त कारणों के कारण हैं और बुद्धि तथा इन्द्रियों के प्रकाशक हैं। वे प्रत्येक वस्तु में परमात्मा रूप में देखे जाते हैं। उनके बिना प्रत्येक वस्तु मृत हो जायेगी। परमात्मा रूप में आप परम नियन्ता ही एकमात्र शेष बचे हैं। ।। ६-९-३८ ।।
