Srimad Bhagavatam
सङ्कल्पायाश्च सङ्कल्पः कामः सङ्कल्पजः स्मृतः । वसवोऽष्टौ वसोः पुत्रास्तेषां नामानि मे शृणु ॥ ६-६-१० ॥
The son of Saṅkalpā was known as Saṅkalpa, and from him lust was born. The sons of Vasu were known as the eight Vasus. Just hear their names from me: ॥ 6-6-10 ॥

संकल्पा का पुत्र संकल्प कहलाया जिससे काम की उत्पत्ति हुई। वसु के पुत्र अष्ट वसु कहलाये। ॥ ६-६-१० ॥
