यं वै न गोभिर्मनसासुभिर्वा हृदा गिरा वासुभृतो विचक्षते । आत्मानमन्तर्हृदि सन्तमात्मनां चक्षुर्यथैवाकृतयस्ततः परम् ॥ ६-३-१६ ॥
As the different limbs of the body cannot see the eyes, the living entities cannot see the Supreme Lord, who is situated as the Supersoul in everyone’s heart. Not by the senses, by the mind, by the life air, by thoughts within the heart, or by the vibration of words can the living entities ascertain the real situation of the Supreme Lord. ॥ 6-3-16 ॥

जिस तरह शरीर के विभिन्न अंग आँखों को नहीं देख सकते, उसी तरह सारे जीव परमेश्वर को नहीं देख सकते जो हर एक के हृदय में परमात्मा के रूप में स्थित रहते हैं। न तो इन्द्रियों से, न मन से, न प्राणवायु से, न हृदय के अन्दर के विचारों से, न ही शब्दों की ध्वनि से जीवात्माएँ परमेश्वर की असली स्थिति को निश्चित कर सकते हैं। ॥ ६-३-१६ ॥

तस्यात्मतन्त्रस्य हरेरधीशितुः परस्य मायाधिपतेर्महात्मनः । प्रायेण दूता इह वै मनोहराश्चरन्ति तद्रूपगुणस्वभावाः ॥ ६-३-१७ ॥
The Supreme Personality of Godhead is self-sufficient and fully independent. He is the master of everyone and everything, including the illusory energy. He has His form, qualities and features; and similarly His order carriers, the Vaiṣṇavas, who are very beautiful, possess bodily features, transcendental qualities and a transcendental nature almost like His. They always wander within this world with full independence. ॥ 6-3-17 ॥

पूर्ण पुरुषोत्तम भगवान् आत्म-निर्भर तथा पूरी तरह स्वतंत्र हैं। वे माया समेत हर एक के स्वामी हैं। वे रूप, गुण तथा स्वभाव से युक्त हैं और इसी तरह उनके आदेशपालक, अर्थात् वैष्णव, जो अत्यन्त सुन्दर होते हैं, उन्हीं जैसे ही शारीरिक स्वरूप दिव्य गुण तथा दिव्य स्वभाव से युक्त होते हैं। वे इस जगत में पूर्ण स्वतंत्रता के साथ सदैव विचरण करते हैं। ॥ ६-३-१७ ॥

भूतानि विष्णोः सुरपूजितानि दुर्दर्शलिङ्गानि महाद्भुतानि । रक्षन्ति तद्भक्तिमतः परेभ्यो मत्तश्च मर्त्यानथ सर्वतश्च ॥ ६-३-१८ ॥
The order carriers of Lord Viṣṇu, who are worshiped even by the demigods, possess wonderful bodily features exactly like those of Viṣṇu and are very rarely seen. The Viṣṇudūtas protect the devotees of the Lord from the hands of enemies, from envious persons and even from my jurisdiction, as well as from natural disturbances. ॥ 6-3-18 ॥

भगवान् विष्णु के दूत, जिनकी पूजा देवता भी किया करते हैं, विष्णु जैसे ही अद्भुत शारीरिक लक्षणों से युक्त होते हैं और विरले ही दिखाई देते हैं। ये विष्णुदूत भगवद्भक्तों की रक्षा उनके शत्रुओं, ईर्ष्यालु व्यक्तियों और मेरे अधिकार क्षेत्र के साथ ही साथ प्राकृतिक उत्पातों से भी करते हैं। ॥ ६-३-१८ ॥

धर्मं तु साक्षाद्भगवत्प्रणीतं न वै विदुरृषयो नापि देवाः । न सिद्धमुख्या असुरा मनुष्याः कुतश्च विद्याधरचारणादयः ॥ ६-३-१९ ॥
Real religious principles are enacted by the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Although fully situated in the mode of goodness, even the great ṛṣis who occupy the topmost planets cannot ascertain the real religious principles, nor can the demigods or the leaders of Siddhaloka, to say nothing of the asuras, ordinary human beings, Vidyādharas and Cāraṇas. ॥ 6-3-19 ॥

असली धार्मिक सिद्धान्तों का निर्माण पूर्ण पुरुषोत्तम भगवान् द्वारा किया जाता है। पूर्णतया सतोगुणी महान् ऋषि तक भी, जो सर्वोच्च लोकों में स्थान पाये हुए हैं, वे भी असली धार्मिक सिद्धान्तों को सुनिश्चित नहीं कर सकते, न ही देवतागण, न सिद्धलोक के नामक ही कर सकते हैं, तो असुरों, सामान्य मनुष्यों, विद्याधरों तथा चारणों की कौन कहे? ॥ ६-३-१९ ॥

Lord Brahmā, Bhagavān Nārada, Lord Śiva, the four Kumāras, Lord Kapila [the son of Devahūti], Svāyambhuva Manu, Prahlāda Mahārāja, Janaka Mahārāja, Grandfather Bhīṣma, Bali Mahārāja, Śukadeva Gosvāmī and I myself know the real religious principle. ॥ 6-3-20 ॥

ब्रह्माजी, भगवान् नारद, शिवजी, चार कुमार, भगवान् कपिल (देवहूति के पुत्र), स्वायंभुव मनु, प्रह्लाद महाराज, जनक महाराज, भीष्म पितामह, बलि महाराज, शुकदेव गोस्वामी तथा मैं असली धर्म के सिद्धान्त को जानने वाले हैं। ॥ ६-३-२० ॥
