भूतानि विष्णोः सुरपूजितानि दुर्दर्शलिङ्गानि महाद्भुतानि । रक्षन्ति तद्भक्तिमतः परेभ्यो मत्तश्च मर्त्यानथ सर्वतश्च ।। ६-३-१८ ।।

sanskrit

The order carriers of Lord Viṣṇu, who are worshiped even by the demigods, possess wonderful bodily features exactly like those of Viṣṇu and are very rarely seen. The Viṣṇudūtas protect the devotees of the Lord from the hands of enemies, from envious persons and even from my jurisdiction, as well as from natural disturbances. ।। 6-3-18 ।।

english translation

भगवान् विष्णु के दूत, जिनकी पूजा देवता भी किया करते हैं, विष्णु जैसे ही अद्भुत शारीरिक लक्षणों से युक्त होते हैं और विरले ही दिखाई देते हैं। ये विष्णुदूत भगवद्भक्तों की रक्षा उनके शत्रुओं, ईर्ष्यालु व्यक्तियों और मेरे अधिकार क्षेत्र के साथ ही साथ प्राकृतिक उत्पातों से भी करते हैं। ।। ६-३-१८ ।।
