ओजः सहो बलं प्राणममृतं मृत्युमेव च । तमज्ञाय जनो हेतुमात्मानं मन्यते जडम् ।। ६-१२-९ ।।

sanskrit

Our sensory prowess, mental power, bodily strength, living force, immortality and mortality are all subject to the superintendence of the Supreme Personality of Godhead. Not knowing this, foolish people think the dull material body to be the cause of their activities. ।। 6-12-9 ।।

english translation

हमारी इन्द्रियों का शौर्य, मानसिक शक्ति, दैहिक बल, जीवन शक्ति, अमरत्व एवं मृत्यु सभी कुछ परम भगवान् की देखरेख के अधीन हैं। इससे अनवगत मूर्ख लोग अपने जड़ शरीर को ही अपने कार्यकलापों का कारण मानते हैं। ।। ६-१२-९ ।।
