एष प्रकृतिसङ्गेन पुरुषस्य विपर्ययः । आसीत्स एव न चिरादीशसङ्गाद्विलीयते ॥ ६-१-५५ ॥
Since the living entity is associated with material nature, he is in an awkward position, but if in the human form of life he is taught how to associate with the Supreme Personality of Godhead or His devotee, this position can be overcome. ॥ 6-1-55 ॥
english translation
चूँकि जीव की संगति भौतिक प्रकृति से रहती है, अतएव वह बड़ी विषम स्थिति में होता है, किन्तु यदि उसे मनुष्य जीवन में यह शिक्षा दी जाती है कि किस तरह पूर्ण पुरुषोत्तम भगवान् या उनके भक्त की संगति की जाये तो इस स्थिति पर काबू पाया जा सकता है। ॥ ६-१-५५ ॥
