तस्य ह यः पुरीषसुरभिसौगन्ध्यवायुस्तं देशं दशयोजनं समन्तात्सुरभिं चकार ।। ५-५-३३ ।।

sanskrit

Because Lord Ṛṣabhadeva remained in that condition, the public did not disturb Him, but no bad aroma emanated from His stool and urine. Quite the contrary, His stool and urine were so aromatic that they filled eighty miles of the countryside with a pleasant fragrance. ।। 5-5-33 ।।

english translation

इस अवस्था में रहने के कारण जनता ने ऋषभदेव को परेशान नहीं किया। परंतु उनके मल- मूत्र से दुर्गन्धि नहीं निकली। उल्टे, उनका मल-मूत्र इतना सुगन्धित था कि अस्सी मील तक का प्रदेश इसकी सुगन्ध से भर गया। ‌‌ ।। ५-५-३३ ।।

tasya ha yaH purISasurabhisaugandhyavAyustaM dezaM dazayojanaM samantAtsurabhiM cakAra || 5-5-33 ||
