यथा महान्ति भूतानि भूतेषूच्चावचेष्वनु । प्रविष्टान्यप्रविष्टानि तथा तेषु न तेष्वहम् ।। २-९-३४ ।।

sanskrit

O Brahmā, please know that the universal elements enter into the cosmos and at the same time do not enter into the cosmos; similarly, I Myself also exist within everything created, and at the same time I am outside of everything. ।। 2-9-34 ।।

english translation

हे ब्रह्मा, तुम यह जान लो कि ब्रह्माण्ड के सारे तत्त्व विश्व में प्रवेश करते हुए भी प्रवेश नहीं करते हैं। उसी प्रकार मैं उत्पन्न की गई प्रत्येक वस्तु में स्थित रहते हुए भी साथ ही साथ प्रत्येक वस्तु से पृथक् रहता हूँ। ।। २-९-३४ ।।
