One who desires a long span of life should worship the demigods known as the Aśvinī-kumāras, and a person desiring a strongly built body should worship the earth. One who desires stability in his post should worship the horizon and the earth combined. ।। 2-3-5 ।।

जो दीर्घायु की कामना करता हो, उसे अश्विनीकुमारों की और जो पुष्ट शरीर चाहे, उसे पृथ्वी की पूजा करनी चाहिए। जो अपनी नौकरी (पद) के स्थायित्व की कामना करता हो, उसे क्षितिज तथा पृथ्वी दोनों की सम्मिलित पूजा करनी चाहिए। ।। २-३-५ ।।
