सूत उवाच संस्तुतो भगवानित्थं मार्कण्डेयेन धीमता । नारायणो नरसखः प्रीत आह भृगूद्वहम् ।। १२-९-१ ।।

sanskrit

Sūta Gosvāmī said: The Supreme Lord Nārāyaṇa, the friend of Nara, was satisfied by the proper glorification offered by the intelligent sage Mārkaṇḍeya. Thus the Lord addressed that excellent descendant of Bhṛgu. ।। 12-9-1 ।।

english translation

सूत गोस्वामी ने कहा: नारा के मित्र, परम भगवान नारायण, बुद्धिमान ऋषि मार्कंडेय द्वारा प्रस्तुत उचित महिमा से संतुष्ट थे। इस प्रकार भगवान ने भृगु के उस उत्कृष्ट वंशज को सम्बोधित किया। ।। १२-९-१ ।।
