ब्राह्मं दशसहस्राणि पाद्मं पञ्चोनषष्टि च । श्रीवैष्णवं त्रयोविंशच्चतुर्विंशति शैवकम् ॥ १२-१३-४ ॥
The Brahma Purāṇa consists of ten thousand verses, the Padma Purāṇa of fifty-five thousand, Śrī Viṣṇu Purāṇa of twenty-three thousand, the Śiva Purāṇa of twenty-four thousand ॥ 12-13-4 ॥

ब्रह्म पुराण में दस हजार श्लोक हैं, पद्म पुराण में पचपन हजार श्लोक हैं, श्री विष्णु पुराण में तेईस हजार श्लोक हैं, शिव पुराण में चौबीस हजार श्लोक हैं। ॥ १२-१३-४ ॥
