स विश्वस्तैजसः प्राज्ञस्तुरीय इति वृत्तिभिः । अर्थेन्द्रियाशयज्ञानैर्भगवान् परिभाव्यते ।। १२-११-२२ ।।

One can conceive of the Supreme Personality of Godhead in terms of awakened consciousness, sleep and deep sleep — which function respectively through external objects, the mind and material intelligence — and also in terms of the fourth, transcendental level of consciousness, which is characterized by pure knowledge. ।। 12-11-22 ।।

english translation

कोई जागृत चेतना, नींद और गहरी नींद के संदर्भ में भगवान के परम व्यक्तित्व की कल्पना कर सकता है - जो क्रमशः बाहरी वस्तुओं, मन और भौतिक बुद्धि के माध्यम से कार्य करता है - और चेतना के चौथे, पारलौकिक स्तर के संदर्भ में भी, जिसकी विशेषता है शुद्ध ज्ञान. ।। १२-११-२२ ।।
