सवैपुंसां परोधर्मो यतो भक्तिरधोक्षजे । अहैतुक्यप्रतिहता ययाऽऽत्मा सम्प्रसीदति ॥ १-२-६ ॥

That duty no doubt is for mankind the highest, of which there is the causeless, uninterrupted devotional service unto Krishna as the One in the Beyond ॥ Vishnu॥ that leads to the full satisfaction of the soul. ॥ 1-2-6 ॥

english translation

सम्पूर्ण मानवता के लिए परम वृत्ति (धर्म) वही है, जिसके द्वारा सारे मनुष्य दिव्य भगवान् की प्रेमा-भक्ति प्राप्त कर सकें। ऐसी भक्ति अकारण तथा अखण्ड होनी चाहिए जिससे आत्मा पूर्ण रूप से तुष्ट हो सके। ॥ १-२-६ ॥
