Srimad Bhagavatam
तथैवानुचराः शौरेः श्रुतदेवोद्धवादयः । सुनन्दनन्दशीर्षण्या ये चान्ये सात्वतर्षभाः ॥ १-१४-३२ ॥
Also, Śrutadeva, Uddhava and others, Nanda, Sunanda and other leaders of liberated souls who are constant companions of the Lord are protected by Lord Balarāma and Kṛṣṇa. Are they all doing well in their respective functions? Do they, who are all eternally bound in friendship with us, remember our welfare? ॥ 1-14-(32-33) ॥

इसके अतिरिक्त, श्रुतदेव, उद्धव तथा अन्य, नन्द, सुनन्द तथा अन्य मुक्तात्माओं के नायक, जो भगवान् के नित्यसंगी हैं, भगवान् बलराम तथा कृष्ण द्वारा सुरक्षित तो हैं? वे सब अपना- अपना कार्य ठीक से चला रहें हैं न? वे जो हमसे नित्य मैत्री-पाश में बँधे हैं, हमारी कुशलता के बारे में पूछते तो हैं? ॥ १-१४-(३२-३३) ॥
