धूम्रा दिशः परिधयः कम्पते भूः सहाद्रिभिः । निर्घातश्च महांस्तात साकं च स्तनयित्नुभिः ॥ १-१४-१५ ॥
Just see how the smoke encircles the sky. It appears that the earth and mountains are throbbing. Just hear the cloudless thunder and see the bolts from the blue. ॥ 1-14-15 ॥
english translation
जरा देखो तो, किस तरह धुँआ आकाश को घेरे हुए है। ऐसा प्रतीत हो रहा है मानो पृथ्वी तथा पर्वत काँप रहे हों। बिना बादलों की यह गर्जन तो जरा सुनो और आकाश से गिरते ब्रजपात को तो देखो! ॥ १-१४-१५ ॥
