मानो महन्तमिति च मंत्रेणावाहनं चरेत् । याते रुद्रे ण मंत्रेण संचरेदुपवेशनम् १६ ।
The invocation (Āvāhana) shall be performed with the mantra “Mā no mahāntam॥ 9॥” etc. The seating (Upaveśana) shall be performed with the mantra “Yā te rudreṇa॥ 10॥”.
english translation
mAno mahantamiti ca maMtreNAvAhanaM caret । yAte rudre Na maMtreNa saMcaredupavezanam 16 ।
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमंत्रेण यामिषुमिति न्यासं कुर्य्याच्छिवस्य च । अध्यवोचदिति प्रेम्णाधिवासं मनुनाचरेत् १७ ।
With the mantra “Yāmiṣum॥ 11॥” etc. the Nyāsa (ritualistic touching of the body in various parts) shall be performed. The offering of fragrance shall be performed endearingly with the mantra ‘Adhyavocat’॥ 12॥ etc.

maMtreNa yAmiSumiti nyAsaM kuryyAcchivasya ca । adhyavocaditi premNAdhivAsaM manunAcaret 17 ।
hk transliteration by Sanscriptमनुना सौजीव इति देवतान्यासमाचरेत् । असौ योवसर्पतीति चाचरेदपसर्पणम् १८ ।
The Nyāsa of the deity shall be performed with the mantra “Asau Jīva॥ 13॥” etc. The rite of approaching the deity (upasarpaṇa) shall be performed with the mantra “Asau Yovasarpati”॥ 14॥ etc.

manunA saujIva iti devatAnyAsamAcaret । asau yovasarpatIti cAcaredapasarpaNam 18 ।
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनमोस्तु नीलग्रीवायेति पाद्यं मनुनाहरेत् । अर्घ्यं च रुद्र गायत्र्! याऽचमनं त्र्! यंबकेण च १९ ।
The water used for washing the feet (Pādya) shall be offered with the mantra. “Namostu Nīlagrīvāya”॥ 15॥ (obeisance to the blue-necked). The water for the respectful reception (Arghya) shall be offered with the Rudragāyatrī॥ 16॥ mantra and the sipping water (Ācamana) with the Tryambaka॥ 17॥ mantra.

The ceremonial ablution with milk shall be performed with the mantra “Payaḥ Pṛthivyām”॥ 18॥ etc. The ceremonial ablution with curd shall be performed with the mantra “Dadhi Krāvṇaḥ॥ 19॥” etc.
