Shiva Purana
मंत्रेण यामिषुमिति न्यासं कुर्य्याच्छिवस्य च । अध्यवोचदिति प्रेम्णाधिवासं मनुनाचरेत् १७ ।
With the mantra “Yāmiṣum[11]” etc. the Nyāsa (ritualistic touching of the body in various parts) shall be performed. The offering of fragrance shall be performed endearingly with the mantra ‘Adhyavocat’[12] etc.
english translation
maMtreNa yAmiSumiti nyAsaM kuryyAcchivasya ca । adhyavocaditi premNAdhivAsaM manunAcaret 17 ।
