Shiva Purana
मनुना सौजीव इति देवतान्यासमाचरेत् । असौ योवसर्पतीति चाचरेदपसर्पणम् १८ ।
The Nyāsa of the deity shall be performed with the mantra “Asau Jīva[13]” etc. The rite of approaching the deity (upasarpaṇa) shall be performed with the mantra “Asau Yovasarpati”[14] etc.
english translation
manunA saujIva iti devatAnyAsamAcaret । asau yovasarpatIti cAcaredapasarpaNam 18 ।
