योनिलिंगस्वरूपेण शिवो जन्मनिरूपकः । तस्माज्जन्मनिवृत्त्यर्थं जन्म पूजा शिवस्य हि ८६ ।
Śiva exemplifies birth in as much as He has the form of both Yoni (vaginal passage) and Liṅga (Penis). Hence in order to ward off births the Janmapūjā is of Śiva alone.
english translation
yoniliMgasvarUpeNa zivo janmanirUpakaH । tasmAjjanmanivRttyarthaM janma pUjA zivasya hi 86 ।
hk transliteration by Sanscriptबिंदुनादात्मकं सर्वं जगत्स्थावरजंगमम् । बिंदुः शक्तिः शिवो नादः शिवशक्त्यात्मकं जगत् ८७ ।
The entire universe consisting of the movable and the immovable is of the nature of Bindu (dot) and Nāda (sound). Bindu is Śakti (Power) and Śiva is Nāda. Hence the universe is pervaded by Śiva and Śakti.

biMdunAdAtmakaM sarvaM jagatsthAvarajaMgamam । biMduH zaktiH zivo nAdaH zivazaktyAtmakaM jagat 87 ।
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनादाधारमिदं बिंदुर्बिंद्वाधारमिदं जगत् । जगदाधारभूतौ हि बिंदुनादौ व्यवस्थितौ ८८ ।
Bindu is the support of Nāda.The universe has the support of Bindu. Both Bindu and Nāda together support the entire universe.
english translation
nAdAdhAramidaM biMdurbiMdvAdhAramidaM jagat । jagadAdhArabhUtau hi biMdunAdau vyavasthitau 88 ।
hk transliteration by Sanscriptबिन्दुनादयुतं सर्वं सकलीकरणं भवेत् । सकलीकरणाज्जन्मजगत्प्राप्नोत्यसंशयः ८९ ।
The unification of the Bindu and the Nāda is called Sakalīkaraṇa and the universe takes its birth as a result of this Sakalīkaraṇa.
english translation
bindunAdayutaM sarvaM sakalIkaraNaM bhavet । sakalIkaraNAjjanmajagatprApnotyasaMzayaH 89 ।
hk transliteration by Sanscriptबिंदुनादात्मकं लिंगं जगत्कारणमुच्यते । बिंदुर्देवीशिवो नादः शिवलिंगं तु कथ्यते 1-16-९० ।
The Phallic emblem is the fusion of Bindu and Nāda and is the cause of the universe. Bindu is the goddess and Śiva is the Nāda and the fusion of the two is the phallic emblem of Śiva.

biMdunAdAtmakaM liMgaM jagatkAraNamucyate । biMdurdevIzivo nAdaH zivaliMgaM tu kathyate 1-16-90 ।
