तस्माज्जन्मनिवृत्त्यर्थं शिवलिंगं प्रपूजयेत् । माता देवी बिंदुरूपा नादरूपः शिवः पिता ९१ ।
Hence to ward off future births, the devotee shall worship the phallic emblem of Śiva. Goddess of the form of Bindu is the mother and Śiva of the form of Nāda is the father.

पूजिताभ्यां पितृभ्यां तु परमानंद एव हि । परमानंदलाभार्थं शिवलिंगं प्रपूजयेत् ९२ ।
Great bliss is the result of the worship of the parents. The devotee shall worship the phallic emblem for the acquisition of the Great Bliss.

सा देवी जगतां माता स शिवो जगतः पिता । पित्रोः शुश्रूषके नित्यं कृपाधिक्यं हि वर्धते ९३ ।
That goddess is the mother of the universe and that Śiva is the father of the universe. Sympathy towards the son who renders service naturally increases in the minds of the parents.

कृपयांतर्गतैश्वर्यं पूजकस्य ददाति हि । तस्मादंतर्गतानंदलाभार्थं मुनिपुंगवाः ९४ ।
O foremost among sages, ordinary parents bestow hidden treasures to the son who renders special service. Hence a devotee shall worship the phallic emblem in the manner of mother and father for the acquisition of the hidden great bliss.

पितृमातृस्वरूपेण शिवलिंगं प्रपूजयेत् । भर्गः पुरुषरूपो हि भर्गा प्रकृतिरुच्यते ९५ ।
Bharga is Puruṣa (Cosmic man or Being) and Bhargā is Prakṛti (Cosmic Nature).
