महापूर्णस्य नैवेद्यं जन्मनैवेद्यमिष्यते । जन्मनैवेद्यदानेन पुनर्जन्म न विद्यते ८१ ।

The great full offering (Mahā-pūrṇa) is the offering of birth itself. By offering the birth-offering, there is no rebirth.

ऊर्जे मासि दिने पुण्ये जन्म नैवेद्यमाचरेत् । संक्रांतिपातजन्मर्क्षपौर्णमास्यादिसंयुते ८२ ।

In the month of Kārttika, on an auspicious day, life-time offering shall be made. It shall be done at the time of the transit of the sun, on birthdays (based on star), on full-moon days, annual birthdays etc.

अब्दजन्मदिने कुर्याज्जन्मनैवेद्यमुत्तमम् । मासांतरेषु जन्मर्क्षपूर्णयोगदिनेपि च ८३ ।

In other months when the natal star comes in conjunction with the planets, this can be performed.

मेलने च शनैर्वापि तावत्साहस्रमाचरेत् । जन्मनैवेद्यदानेन जन्मार्पणफलं लभेत् ८४ ।

Even if the conjunction is only partial the offering shall be made. One gets the benefit of dedicating oneself by that.

जन्मार्पणाच्छिवः प्रीतिः स्वसायुज्यं ददाति हि । इदं तज्जन्मनैवेद्यं शिवस्यैव प्रदापयेत् ८५ ।

Śiva is delighted by the dedication of selves and bestows the salvation of complete identity. This life-time offering shall be made only to Śiva.
