विद्येशकलशान्न्यस्येन्मध्ये शैवीं च वर्धनीम् ॥ परीत्य पद्मत्रितयं जुहुयुर्द्विजसत्तमाः ॥ २२ ॥

sanskrit

In the middle of the urn of Vidyeśa one should place the Śiva-vardhanī. The best of the brāhmaṇas should circumambulate the place and offer three lotuses.

ते चाष्टमूर्तयः कल्प्याः पूर्वादिपरितः स्थिताः ॥ चत्वारश्चाथ वा दिक्षु स्वध्येतारस्सजापकाः ॥ २३ ॥

They are to be imagined as having eight forms and are situated around the east and the west. Or four in the directions who are self-studying and chanting.

जुहुयुस्ते विरंच्याद्याश्चतस्रो मूर्तयः स्मृताः ॥ दैशिकः प्रथमं तेषामैशान्यां पश्चिमे ऽथ वा ॥ २४ ॥

The four idols, headed by Viranchya, should offer oblations. The daisika is first in the northeast or west of them.

One should offer the principal oblations in order with seven ingredients. Other brāhmaṇas should offer a foot or a half of the sacrifice to the ācārya.
