तस्मात्त्रयस्ते कथ्यंते जगतः कारणानि च ॥ कारणत्रयहेतुश्च शिवः परमकारणम् ॥ ५० ॥

Therefore I shall now describe the three causes of the universe. Shiva is the cause of the three causes and the supreme cause.
