देवमातारुन्धती च सर्वाः खलु पतिव्रताः ॥ शिवार्चनरतो नित्यं श्रीमत्यः प्रियदर्शनाः ॥ ४६ ॥
The mother of the gods and Arundhati were all faithful to their husbands They are beautiful and pleasing to look at and are always engaged in the worship of Lord Shiva.
english translation
devamAtArundhatI ca sarvAH khalu pativratAH ॥ zivArcanarato nityaM zrImatyaH priyadarzanAH ॥ 46 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptप्रथमावरणे वेदांश्चतुरो वा प्रपूजयेत् ॥ इतिहासपुराणानि द्वितीयावरणे पुनः ॥ ४७ ॥
He shall worship the four Vedas in the first, the Itihāsas and Purāṇas in the second Āvaraṇa.
english translation
prathamAvaraNe vedAMzcaturo vA prapUjayet ॥ itihAsapurANAni dvitIyAvaraNe punaH ॥ 47 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतृतीयावरणे पश्चाद्धर्मशास्त्रपुरस्सराः ॥ दिक्यो निखिला विद्याः पूज्या एव समंततः ॥ ४८ ॥
The entire Vedic lore beginning with law codes shall be worshipped in the third Āvaraṇa.
english translation
tRtIyAvaraNe pazcAddharmazAstrapurassarAH ॥ dikyo nikhilA vidyAH pUjyA eva samaMtataH ॥ 48 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptपूर्वादिपुरतो वेदास्तदन्ये तु यथारुचि ॥ अष्टधा वा चतुर्धा वा कृत्वा पूजां समंततः ॥ ४९ ॥
The Vedas shall be worshipped beginning with the cast. The other texts shall also be worshipped just as one pleases. They are divided into four or eight and their worship performed all round.
english translation
pUrvAdipurato vedAstadanye tu yathAruci ॥ aSTadhA vA caturdhA vA kRtvA pUjAM samaMtataH ॥ 49 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptएवं ब्रह्माणमभ्यर्च्य त्रिभिरावरणैर्युतम् ॥ दक्षिणे पश्चिमे पश्चाद्रुद्रं सावरणं यजेत् ॥ ५० ॥
After worshipping Brahmā endowed with the three Āvaraṇas, in this manner in the south, he shall worship Rudra in the west along with the Āvaraṇas.
english translation
evaM brahmANamabhyarcya tribhirAvaraNairyutam ॥ dakSiNe pazcime pazcAdrudraM sAvaraNaM yajet ॥ 50 ॥
