उपमन्युरुवाच ॥ अनुक्तं चात्र पूजायाः कमलोपभयादिव ॥ यत्तदन्यत्प्रवक्ष्यामि समासान्न तु विस्तरात् ॥ १ ॥
Upamanyu said:— What has not been mentioned because I was afraid of losing the sequence of worship, I shall now mention briefly,
english translation
upamanyuruvAca ॥ anuktaM cAtra pUjAyAH kamalopabhayAdiva ॥ yattadanyatpravakSyAmi samAsAnna tu vistarAt ॥ 1 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptहविर्निवेदनात्पूर्वं दीपदानादनन्तरम् ॥ कुर्यादावरणाभ्यर्चां प्राप्ते नीराजने ऽथ वा ॥ २ ॥
After offering the light but before offering the Havis, the devotee shall perform the worship of the Āvaraṇa; or just when the time of Nīrājana has arrived.
english translation
havirnivedanAtpUrvaM dIpadAnAdanantaram ॥ kuryAdAvaraNAbhyarcAM prApte nIrAjane 'tha vA ॥ 2 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतत्रेशानादिसद्यांतं रुद्राद्यस्त्रांतमेव च ॥ शिवस्य वा शिवायाश्च प्रथमावरणे जपेत् ॥ ३ ॥
There are also weapons beginning with Lord Śiva and weapons beginning with Lord Śiva. One should chant the mantra of Shiva or Shiva in the first covering.

tatrezAnAdisadyAMtaM rudrAdyastrAMtameva ca ॥ zivasya vA zivAyAzca prathamAvaraNe japet ॥ 3 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptऐशान्यां पूर्वभागे च दक्षिणे चोत्तरे तथा ॥ पश्चिमे च तथाग्नेय्यामैशान्यां नैरृते तथा ॥ ४ ॥
They lived in the northeast, east, south and north. In the west and in the south-east and in the north-east.
english translation
aizAnyAM pUrvabhAge ca dakSiNe cottare tathA ॥ pazcime ca tathAgneyyAmaizAnyAM nairRte tathA ॥ 4 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptवायव्यां पुनरैशान्यां चतुर्दिक्षु ततः परम् ॥ गर्भावरणमाख्यातं मन्त्रसंघातमेव वा ॥ ५ ॥
Then, on the north-west, in the north-east, in the four directions. The covering of the womb or the collection of mantras is described.

vAyavyAM punaraizAnyAM caturdikSu tataH param ॥ garbhAvaraNamAkhyAtaM mantrasaMghAtameva vA ॥ 5 ॥
