मुनय ऊचुः ॥ यो ऽयं पशुरिति प्रोक्तो यश्च पाश उदाहृतः ॥ आभ्यां विलक्षणः कश्चित्कोयमस्ति तयोः पतिः ॥ १ ॥

The sages said:— You have explained what is Paśu and what is Pāśa. Now mention what is their lord different in characteristics from the two?

munaya UcuH ॥ yo 'yaM pazuriti prokto yazca pAza udAhRtaH ॥ AbhyAM vilakSaNaH kazcitkoyamasti tayoH patiH ॥ 1 ॥
