अथ वैतत्स्वसूत्रोक्तं कृत्वा हस्तौ विशोधयेत् ॥ करन्यासं ततः कृत्वा सकलीकृतविग्रहः ॥ १७ ॥

Then, after doing this, one should purify the hands as described in one’s own thread. Then he laid his hands on the whole fight.

atha vaitatsvasUtroktaM kRtvA hastau vizodhayet ॥ karanyAsaM tataH kRtvA sakalIkRtavigrahaH ॥ 17 ॥
