Shiva Purana
सहशिष्यो गुरुर्देवं दण्डवत्क्षितिमंडले ॥ प्रणम्योद्वासयेत्तस्मान्मंडलात्पावकादपि ॥ ६१ ॥
Followed by his disciple the preceptor shall prostrate before the lord on the ground. Thereafter he shall ritualistically dismiss him from the Maṇḍala and the fire.

sahaziSyo gururdevaM daNDavatkSitimaMDale ॥ praNamyodvAsayettasmAnmaMDalAtpAvakAdapi ॥ 61 ॥
