नम आद्यैर्यकरांतैः कल्पयेत्कल्पवित्तमः ॥ ईशानं मध्यमे कुंभे पुरुषं पुरतः स्थिते ॥ १६ ॥

A person who is well versed in the Kalpa should offer obeisances with the beginning and end of the Yakara. The northeast is placed in front of the man in the middle of the pot.

nama AdyairyakarAMtaiH kalpayetkalpavittamaH ॥ IzAnaM madhyame kuMbhe puruSaM purataH sthite ॥ 16 ॥

अघोरं दक्षिणे वामे वामं सद्यं च पश्चिमे ॥ रक्षां विधाय मुद्रा च बद्ध्वा कुंभाभिमंत्रणम् ॥ १७ ॥

Aghora is on the right, left and immediately on the west. After setting up the raksha and tying the mudra he chanted the mantra for the pot.

aghoraM dakSiNe vAme vAmaM sadyaM ca pazcime ॥ rakSAM vidhAya mudrA ca baddhvA kuMbhAbhimaMtraNam ॥ 17 ॥

कृत्वा शिवानलैर्होमं प्रारभेत्यथा पुरा ॥ यदर्धं पायसं पूर्वं होमार्थं परिकल्पितम् ॥ १८ ॥

After performing the sacrificial fire with Lord Śiva’s fire, he begins the sacrifice as before. Half of the payasam prepared for the sacrifice in the past.

kRtvA zivAnalairhomaM prArabhetyathA purA ॥ yadardhaM pAyasaM pUrvaM homArthaM parikalpitam ॥ 18 ॥

हुत्वा शिष्यस्य तच्छेषं भोक्तुं समुपकल्पयेत् ॥ तर्पणांतं च मंत्राणां कृत्वा कर्म यथा पुरा ॥ १९ ॥

After offering oblations to the deity, one should arrange for the disciple to enjoy the remainder of the food. At the end of the tarpana the mantras were performed as before.

hutvA ziSyasya taccheSaM bhoktuM samupakalpayet ॥ tarpaNAMtaM ca maMtrANAM kRtvA karma yathA purA ॥ 19 ॥

हुत्वा पूर्णाहुतिं तेषां ततः कुर्यात्प्रदीपनम् ॥ ओंकारादनु हुंकारं ततो मूलं फडंतकम् ॥ २० ॥

After offering complete oblations to the demigods one should then set fire to the sacrificial fire. Omkara followed by Humkara and then the root Phadantaka.
