ततश्शिवानले देवं समभ्यर्च्य यथाविधि ॥ हुताहुतित्रयं शिष्यमुपवेश्य यथा पुरा ॥ ४० ॥

Thereafter he worshiped Lord Śiva in the fire in accordance with tradition After offering three kinds of oblations to the disciple, he sat down as before.

tatazzivAnale devaM samabhyarcya yathAvidhi ॥ hutAhutitrayaM ziSyamupavezya yathA purA ॥ 40 ॥
