ज्ञानामृतेन तृप्तस्य भक्त्या शैवशिवात्मनः ॥ नांतर्न च बहिः कृष्ण कृत्यमस्ति कदाचन ॥ ५१ ॥
O Kṛṣṇa, neither within nor without has he ever any duty, he who is contented with the nectar of knowledge and who has identified his Ātman with Śiva by means of his devotion.
english translation
jJAnAmRtena tRptasya bhaktyA zaivazivAtmanaH ॥ nAMtarna ca bahiH kRSNa kRtyamasti kadAcana ॥ 51 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतस्मात्क्रमेण संत्यज्य बाह्यमाभ्यंतरं तथा ॥ ज्ञानेन ज्ञेयमालोक्याज्ञानं चापि परित्यजेत् ॥ ५२ ॥
The devotee shall eschew in order the external and internal worships. Through Jñāna he shall see the Jñeya and then eschew the Jñāna also.
english translation
tasmAtkrameNa saMtyajya bAhyamAbhyaMtaraM tathA ॥ jJAnena jJeyamAlokyAjJAnaM cApi parityajet ॥ 52 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptनैकाग्रं चेच्छिवे चित्तं किं कृतेनापि कर्मणा ॥ एकाग्रमेव चेच्चित्तं किं कृतेनापि कर्मणा ॥ ५३ ॥
If the mind is not concentrated on Śiva, of what avail is the rite even when performed? If the mind is concentrated, of what avail is the rite duly performed?
english translation
naikAgraM cecchive cittaM kiM kRtenApi karmaNA ॥ ekAgrameva ceccittaM kiM kRtenApi karmaNA ॥ 53 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptतस्मात्कर्माण्यकृत्वा वा कृत्वा वांतर्बहिःक्रमात् ॥ येन केनाप्युपायेन शिवे चित्तं निवेशयेत् ॥ ५४ ॥
Hence one shall fix the mind in Śiva by some means or other without performing the rites or performing them internally or externally in order.
english translation
tasmAtkarmANyakRtvA vA kRtvA vAMtarbahiHkramAt ॥ yena kenApyupAyena zive cittaM nivezayet ॥ 54 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptशिवे निविष्टचित्तानां प्रतिष्ठितधियां सताम् ॥ परत्रेह च सर्वत्र निर्वृतिः परमा भवेत् ॥ ५५ ॥
Persons who have fixed their minds in Śiva, good men who have stabilised their intellect will have the greatest bliss everywhere both here and hereafter.
english translation
zive niviSTacittAnAM pratiSThitadhiyAM satAm ॥ paratreha ca sarvatra nirvRtiH paramA bhavet ॥ 55 ॥
