स्तोत्रैर्माहेश्वरैर्दिव्यैः श्रोतैः पौराणिकैरपि ॥ देवो ऽपि देवानालोक्य घृणया वृषभध्वजः ॥ २४ ॥

sanskrit

They chanted the hymns of the great Lords and the divine scriptures and the myths. Even the god Vrishabhadhvaja looked at the gods with disgust.

english translation

stotrairmAhezvarairdivyaiH zrotaiH paurANikairapi ॥ devo 'pi devAnAlokya ghRNayA vRSabhadhvajaH ॥ 24 ॥
