तथा रक्षोधिपः साक्षाद्रावणो बलगर्वितः ॥ उद्धरन्स्वभुजैर्दीर्घैः कैलासं गिरिमात्मनः ॥ ४६ ॥
Similarly Ravana the lord of the demons himself was proud of his strength Lifting up mount Kailas with his long arms.

तदागो ऽसहमानस्य देवदेवस्य शूलिनः ॥ पदांगुष्ठपरिस्पन्दान्ममज्ज मृदितो भुवि ॥ ४७ ॥
Then the trident of Lord Śiva, who could not bear it, struck him. He sank crushed to the ground by the vibration of his toes.

बटोः केनचिदर्थेन स्वाश्रितस्य गतायुषः ॥ त्वरयागत्य देवेन पादांतं गमितोन्तकः ॥ ४८ ॥
For a brahmin boy whose life came to an end and who sought refuge in him, the lord came there hurriedly and kicked Yama with his foot.

स्ववाहनमविज्ञाय वृषेन्द्रं वडवानलः ॥ सगलग्रहमानीतस्ततो ऽस्त्येकोदकं जगत् ॥ ४९ ॥
The submarine fire, not knowing the bull as the lord’s vehicle swallowed him. Thereafter the universe became a vast sheet of water.

अलोकविदितैस्तैस्तैर्वृत्तैरानन्दसुन्दरैः ॥ अंगहारस्वसेनेदमसकृच्चालितं जगत् ॥ ५० ॥
By means of different activities blissfully beautiful and unknown to the people, the universe has been set to motion frequently.
