The ocean was agitated with the surging waves, foams and whirlpools. Meteors fell portending great evil. Trees shed down their branches.

अप्रसन्ना दिशः सर्वाः पवनश्चाशिवो ववौ ॥ अहो विधिविपर्यासस्त्वश्वमेधोयमध्वरः ॥ यजमानस्स्वयं दक्षौ ब्रह्मपुत्रप्रजापतिः ॥ ६२ ॥

All directions were unhappy and the wind blew auspiciously Alas, this sacrifice is contrary to the prescribed rituals. The sacrificer himself was Daksha the son of Brahma and the creator.

aprasannA dizaH sarvAH pavanazcAzivo vavau ॥ aho vidhiviparyAsastvazvamedhoyamadhvaraH ॥ yajamAnassvayaM dakSau brahmaputraprajApatiH ॥ 62 ॥

Hence no such action shall be performed that is not indicated in the Vedas, and that which excludes Śiva and is taken up by the wicked.
