दधानं कोटिकन्दर्प्पदर्पहानि तनुद्युतिम् ॥ नग्रं प्रहसितास्याब्जं गायन्तं साम लीलया ॥ ९६ ॥
The lustre of his body subdued the arrogance of a crore Cupids. He was naked. His lotus-face was beaming with smiles. He was sportively singing Sāman hymns.

करुणापारपाथोधिं भक्तवत्सलनामकम् ॥ आशुतोषमुमाकान्तं प्रसादसुमुखं हरम् ॥ ९७ ॥
The ocean of transcendental paths of compassion is called Bhaktavatsala. Quick-satisfying Uma-loving Lord Hari with a pleasant face of grace.

समालोक्य स्तुतिं चक्रे प्रेमगद्गया गिरा ॥ योगीनामप्यगम्यन्तं दीनबन्धुं चिदात्मकम् ॥ ९८ ॥
She looked at him and praised him in a voice choked with love. He is the friend of the poor and is accessible even to the yogis.

वेदव्यास उवाच ॥ देवदेव महाभाग शरणागतवत्सल॥ वाङ्मनः कर्मदुष्पाप योगिनामप्यगोचर ॥ ९९॥
Vyāsa said:— “O lord of gods, O fortunate one who are favourably disposed to the refugees, O lord inaccessible to words, mind and activities, and the one that are invisible even to the Yogins.

महिमानं न ते वेदा विदामासुरुमापते ॥ त्वमेव जगतः कर्ता धर्ता हर्ता तथैव च ॥ १००॥
O lord of Umā, the Vedas too do not realise our greatness. You alone are the creator of the universe, the sustainer and the annihilator too.
