प्रजाभिस्तपसा युक्ता ब्रह्मलोकं व्रजंति ते ।। युगानि सप्रतिस्त्वेकं साग्राण्यंतरमुच्यते ।। ७१ ।।

Endowed with austerities by the subjects they attain the world of Brahma One of the ages is called the interval between the peaks.

english translation

prajAbhistapasA yuktA brahmalokaM vrajaMti te || yugAni sapratistvekaM sAgrANyaMtaramucyate || 71 ||

चतुर्दशैते मनवः कीर्तिता कीर्तिवर्धनाः ।। मन्वंतरेषु सर्वेषु संहारांते पुनर्भवः ।। ७२ ।।

sanskrit

These fourteen Manus are glorified. In each Manvantara there is re-creation after annihilation.

न शक्यमन्तरं तेषां वक्तुं वर्षशतैरपि ।। पूर्णे शतसहस्रे तु कल्पो निःशेष उच्यते ।। ७३ ।।

It is difficult to explain Manvantara even in hundreds of years. The Kalpa that follows a hundred thousand Kalpas is named Niśśeṣa.

na zakyamantaraM teSAM vaktuM varSazatairapi || pUrNe zatasahasre tu kalpo niHzeSa ucyate || 73 ||

तत्र सर्वाणि भूतानि दग्धान्यादित्यरश्मिभिः ।। ब्रह्माणमग्रतः कृत्वा सदादित्यगणैर्मुने ।। ७४ ।।

sanskrit

All beings there were burnt by the rays of the sun O sage, with the hosts of the suns always placed Brahma in front of them.

english translation

tatra sarvANi bhUtAni dagdhAnyAdityarazmibhiH || brahmANamagrataH kRtvA sadAdityagaNairmune || 74 ||

प्रविशंति सुरश्रेष्ठ हरिं नारायणं परम्।। स्रष्टारं सर्व भूतानां कल्पांतेषु पुनःपुनः ।। ७५ ।।

sanskrit

O best of the gods they enter into the Supreme Hari Narayana. He is the creator of all beings again and again at the end of the kalpas.
