न स्त्रीभ्यः किंचिदन्यद्वै पापीयस्तरमस्ति हि ॥ स्त्रियो मूलं हि पापानां तथा त्वमपि वेत्थ ह ॥ १६॥
There is none more sinning and more sinful than women. Women are at the root of all sins. This you know already.
english translation
na strIbhyaH kiMcidanyadvai pApIyastaramasti hi ॥ striyo mUlaM hi pApAnAM tathA tvamapi vettha ha ॥ 16॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptसमाज्ञातानर्थवतः प्रतिरूपान् यथेप्सितान् ॥ यतीनन्तरमासाद्य नालं नार्य्यः प्रतीक्षितुम् ॥ १७॥
They might have husbands of good knowledge, of ample wealth, of great comeliness and pleasing to them. But when they get opportunities for erring, they do not wait.
english translation
samAjJAtAnarthavataH pratirUpAn yathepsitAn ॥ yatInantaramAsAdya nAlaM nAryyaH pratIkSitum ॥ 17॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअसद्धर्मस्त्वयं स्त्रीणामस्माकं भवति प्रभो॥ पापीयसो नरान् यद्वै लज्जां त्यक्त्वा भजामहे ॥ १८ ॥
O holy lord, this is the evil practice of all of us, women, that we resort to sinful men casting off all shame and shyness.
english translation
asaddharmastvayaM strINAmasmAkaM bhavati prabho॥ pApIyaso narAn yadvai lajjAM tyaktvA bhajAmahe ॥ 18 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptस्त्रियं च यः प्रार्थयते सन्निकर्षं च गच्छति ॥ ईषच्च कुरुते सेवां तमेवेच्छति योषितः ॥ १९ ॥
Women love only those persons who solicit their company, who approach them intimately and who render them a little bit of service.
english translation
striyaM ca yaH prArthayate sannikarSaM ca gacchati ॥ ISacca kurute sevAM tamevecchati yoSitaH ॥ 19 ॥
hk transliteration by Sanscriptअनर्थित्वान्मनुष्याणां भयात्पतिजनस्य च ॥ मर्यादायाममर्यादाः स्त्रियस्तिष्ठंति भर्तृषु ॥ २० ॥
Women usually do not observe the limitations of conventional decency. If at all they stand by them with their husbands it is because no man makes advances to them or because they are afraid of their husbands.

anarthitvAnmanuSyANAM bhayAtpatijanasya ca ॥ maryAdAyAmamaryAdAH striyastiSThaMti bhartRSu ॥ 20 ॥
