पञ्चचूडोवाच ॥ कुलीना नाथवंत्यश्च रूपवंत्यश्च योषितः ॥ मर्यादासु न तिष्ठंति स दोषः स्त्रीषु नारद ॥ १५ ॥

sanskrit

Pañcacūḍā said:— O Nārada, this is the defect in women. Even women of noble families, women with husbands and women endowed with beauty do not stand within the limits of decency.

english translation

paJcacUDovAca ॥ kulInA nAthavaMtyazca rUpavaMtyazca yoSitaH ॥ maryAdAsu na tiSThaMti sa doSaH strISu nArada ॥ 15 ॥
