पश्यध्वमस्य भावस्य महाभाग्यमशेषतः ।। परिष्वक्तोपि यन्नार्य्या भावहीनं न कामयेत् ।। २६ ।।

O observe the great fortune in the difference of emotions. The man, though embraced, does not love the woman who is devoid of the feelings of love.

pazyadhvamasya bhAvasya mahAbhAgyamazeSataH || pariSvaktopi yannAryyA bhAvahInaM na kAmayet || 26 ||

नाद्याद्विविधमन्नाद्यं भक्ष्याणि सुरभीणि च ।। यदि चिंतां समाधत्ते चित्ते कामादिषु त्रिषु ।। २७ ।।

If the three emotions, passion etc. were to create worries in the mind no one would relish different delicious or fragrant stuffs.

nAdyAdvividhamannAdyaM bhakSyANi surabhINi ca || yadi ciMtAM samAdhatte citte kAmAdiSu triSu || 27 ||

गृह्यते तेन भावेन नरो भावाद्विमुच्यते ।। भावतश्शुचि शुद्धात्मा स्वर्गं मोक्षं च विंदति ।। २८ ।।

Man is caught hold of by emotions and man can rid himself of emotions. A man purified by pure emotions attains heaven and salvation.

gRhyate tena bhAvena naro bhAvAdvimucyate || bhAvatazzuci zuddhAtmA svargaM mokSaM ca viMdati || 28 ||

भावेनैकात्मशुद्धात्मा दहञ्जुह्वन्स्तुवन्मृतः ।। ज्ञानावाप्तेरवाप्याशु लोकान्सुबहुयाजिनाम् ।। २९ ।।

Performing Japas, sacrifices and eulogies after purifying the soul with pure emotions a man acquires perfect knowledge and after death he attains the worlds of persons who perform many sacrifices.

ज्ञानामलांभसा पुंसां सद्वैराग्यमृदा पुनः ।। अविद्यारागविण्मूत्रलेपगंधविशोधनम् ।। ३० ।।

The purification and removal of the sliminess and bad odour of the faeces and urine of ignorance and passion of men is effected by the pure water of knowledge and the clay of detachment from the world.
